Thewirelessmodulestoresthevaluessetbyseveralcommandsintheinternal,non‐volatilememory(non‐volatile
memory),allowingtorememberthissettingevenafterpoweroff.Inthenon‐volatilememorythesevaluesareset
eitherasfactoryprofileorasuserprofiles.
Therearetwocustomizableuserprofilesandonefa
ctoryprofileinthenon‐volatilememoryofthedevice:By
defaultthedevicestartswithuserprofile0equaltofactoryprofile.
Forbackwardcompatibilityeachprofileisdividedintotwosections:
basesectionwhichwashistoricallytheonethatwassavedandrestoredinearlyreleasesofcode,and
extendedsectionwhichincludesalltheremainingvalues.
The&Wcommandis usedtosavetheactualvaluesofbothsectionsofprofilesintothenon‐volatilememoryuser
profile.
Commands&Yand&Parebothusedtosettheprofiletobeloadedatstartup.&Yinstructsthedevicetoloadonly
thebasesectionatstartup.&Pinstructsthedevicetoload,atstartup,thefullpr
ofile:base+extendedsections.
Forcommandsinthebasesection,the&Fcommandresetsvaluestofactoryprofiledefaults.
&F1resetstofactoryprofilevaluesthefullsetofbase+extendedsectioncom
mands.
Thevaluessetbyothercommandsarestoredinnon ‐volatile memoryoutsidetheprofile.Somevaluesarealways
stored,withoutissuing&W.Othervaluesarestoredbyissuingspecificcommands(+CSAS,#SLEDSAV,#SKTSAV,
#ESAV).Allofthesevaluesarereadatpower‐up.
